In South Africa reared from dead branches of Acacia erubescens Welw. ex Oliv. and A. grandicornuta Heyne (Fabaceae) (Bílý & Kubáň 2000).

Remarks:

In Namibia known only after a short series, reared from dead wood collected in the Khomas Highlands.
