The approach is to compile a maximum of data (which is widely scattered over the various sources, like literature and entomological collections), and in conclusion to be able to present summarized inventories of the respective country’s faunas. Our projects have reached the point where we believe that it makes sense to share this material, even though we are aware of its fragmentary character. As a first stage we present, apart from general introductory sections with reference register and abbreviation glossary, full checklists of all genera and species (including synonyms) detected so far. For some selected taxa there are linked fact sheets, featuring images, additional short info (e.g. biological or taxonomic details) and - when indicated - distribution maps. Prospectively it is planned to extend the existing offer, whenever time allows to access and digitally process the records and files on hand. For reasons of clarity we refrain from adding page numbers of original descriptions and any other such information. In cases when this is requested, we refer to the recent comprehensive world catalogue (Bellamy 2008-2009) or the excellent website by the same author.
